To pay for the ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the US has used its credit card, counting on the Chinese and other foreign buyers of its debt to pay the bills. This bill will come due very soon and it is the citizens of the United States that will foot this bill. I do not think that when the US got into this war that the people were aware of just how much this was going to cost us in the way of money spent and our own liberties lost. The bill is going to be terrible for both I am afraid. We will as a people profit very little. Of course the people who started this war and crafted public opinion will profit a great deal in the way of both profit and increased centralized power in the government.
Guess who this credit card bill is going to be charged to?
A. Is it the defense contractors that have made trillions of dollars on the war?
B. Is it the oil companies that have made more money than all of the other industries combined since the war started?
C. Is it the global bankers who issue the money to pay for the war?
D. Is the dummed down ill informed tax payers in the USA who have also lost their sons and daughters to the war?
